Nelson Bennett, MD
Nelson Bennett, MD, FACS, (Associate Professor of Urology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine) graduated from Mercer University with a degree Biomedical Engineering in 1995. He went to medical school at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and then went on to complete a residency in Urologic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After finishing a 2-year fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Sexual Medicine and Surgery, he joined the faculty at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Urology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. As a board certified urologist and microsurgeon, Dr. Bennett specializes in the management of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, disorders of ejaculation and orgasm, low testosterone levels, penile prostheses, and varicocele repair. Dr. Bennett has authored numerous articles and presented research work on a national and international level. He is an associate Editor of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Additionally, he is the Treasurer of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA and an active member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), American Urologic Association (AUA), and National Medical Association (NMA).
